How to make housework (cleaning) EASY

Welcome to today's Easy Way video!

This week's question comes from Emily, who writes:

I'm having trouble keeping on top of the housework alongside working full time and spending quality time with my family. I end up leaving it and then cleaning is a daunting task which I put off..

That's a really good question and one that I think most of us Mums face at some point!

Here's how I do it:

All you need to do is write one or two rooms in each day's column, then on that day, follow each of the four steps on the left. If you don't have one block of time to do all the steps together, just do 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon - or break the day down into 4 parts and do one step in each part of the day.

Why this works:

Your cleaning is now focused, with a simple system that's easy to follow. if you need to stop and start, it's easy to pick up where you left off! Plus, breaking it down into bite size pieces makes the whole thing less overwhelming.

My inspiration for the design of this printable is from the Weekly Chore Schedule at TheProjectGirl.com. I know mine isn't an exact copy, but I firmly believe in giving credit when I come across something I love! You can check out the gorgeous printable from The Project Girl here.
