🏡 The one day that makes the whole week easier

A few years ago I stumbled onto something that changed how our whole household runs.

I picked one day a week - Sunday - and I called it our reset day. Nothing fancy. No big clean. Just a handful of small things done consistently that meant Monday morning didn't feel like we were starting from behind.

Here's what our reset looks like:

→ A quick tidy of the main living areas (not a deep clean, just surfaces clear and things back where they belong)

→ One load of washing done and put away

→ A simple plan for dinners for the week

→ School bags checked, uniforms ready

→ A 2-minute look at the week ahead so nothing sneaks up on me

The whole thing takes maybe 45 minutes. But the return on that 45 minutes is enormous.

Monday morning goes from chaotic to calm. The week feels manageable before it even begins. And I'm not spending Sunday night anxious about everything I haven't done.

You don't have to do it on Sunday. You don't have to do it exactly like me. But I'd encourage you to pick a day, pick your version of a reset, and protect it like the small but mighty ritual it is.

💗 Do you already have a reset day? Hit reply and tell me what's on your list.
