🏡 Why you keep organising the same spaces (and what to do instead)

Have you ever organised the same drawer three times and had it look exactly the same two weeks later?

If so, I want to share something that might be a bit of a lightbulb moment.

The reason we keep organising the same spaces isn't that we're bad at organising. It's that we're organising without first asking why it keeps getting messy.

Every space that consistently falls apart is telling you something. It's telling you that the system doesn't match how you actually live.

The junk drawer that fills up immediately? Probably because there's no designated home for those things anywhere else, so they default there.

The kids' toy area that's always a disaster? Maybe the storage is too complicated for them to actually use it themselves.

The kitchen bench that collects everything? Often it's because it's the first flat surface you hit when you walk in the door, and there's nothing else to catch what you're carrying.

Before you reorganise anything again, ask this instead:

→ WHY does this space get messy?

→ What's actually ending up here, and where does it really belong?

→ Would a different system make it easier to keep tidy?

Organise to match YOUR life - not an imaginary tidier version of it.

💗 Is there a space in your home you keep reorganising?
